How to Use Laundry Perfume in the Washing Machine (Step by Step)

Add 5–10 ml of Love for Laundry laundry perfume to the fabric softener compartment. Put detergent in its usual compartment or use it as directed on its packaging. Laundry perfume adds fragrance; you still need detergent to clean your washing.

How to use it, step by step

1. Read the product label and your fabric care labels. Shake the bottle before use.
2. Measure 5–10 ml into the fabric softener compartment, usually marked with a flower symbol. Do not exceed the drawer's maximum fill line.
3. Add detergent separately, following its instructions. Do not put detergent in the fabric softener compartment.
4. Choose a wash programme suitable for the fabric and load. Leave room for items to move.
5. Remove the washing promptly and dry it according to its care label.

How much should I use?

Start with 5 ml if you prefer a lighter fragrance. Use up to 10 ml for a fuller scent, within the product's directions. Measure in millilitres rather than assuming that every cap holds the same amount. More perfume does not replace good washing or drying.

Do I need fabric softener?

What about hand washing?

Follow the directions on your particular bottle for the amount of water and perfume required. Do not apply the concentrated liquid directly to clothing. If the label is unclear, contact us before using it.

Can I tumble dry the washing?

Follow the garment's drying label. Drying method and temperature can affect how noticeable a fragrance is. For adding any product directly to a tumble dryer, follow the product label and the dryer's instructions; do not improvise with concentrated perfume.

Spills and storage

Wipe spills from the machine or surrounding surfaces immediately. Keep the bottle securely closed and follow all storage and safety instructions on the label.
